His Favorite

Yoshio Yoshida is well aware of the importance of appearance. With his short stature, almond-shaped eyes, and facial scar, it seems impossible for him to attract a girlfriend. Adding to his misery, the girls at his school dislike him because of his close association with Takahiko Satou, a tall and attractive classmate. Yoshida struggles to understand Satou’s motive for being his friend, as they have very little in common and barely know each other.
However, Satou’s adoring fans trick Yoshida into discovering who Satou considers his “favorite.” Yoshida is utterly shocked when Satou kisses him instead of revealing the truth. The next day, Yoshida recollects that Satou is a former overweight classmate whom he used to protect from bullies.
Suddenly, Satou exhibits his true colors as a sadistic person and confesses his love for Yoshida. Yoshida realizes that being Satou’s favorite could only complicate his already complex life.
